Owned and operated by two Albuquerque natives and a British transplant, we are proud to be a local startup company who is tackling the E-waste problem while simultaneously creating green jobs in a much needed industry.

The E-waste Problem
The EPA estimates that 20 million electronic products became obsolete in 1998, and by 2007 that number has more than doubled. Over the last 10 years the recycling rate of electronics has hovered around 15-18%, and it is estimated that 40% have been disposed of in landfills, while the remaining 40% is in storage. Because electronics contain many toxic materials such as lead, mercury and brominated flame retardants, their presence in landfills have detrimental impacts on our environment. It is also true that electronics contain many reusable materials which are lost when we simply throw our old electronics away.
